From Classroom to Career: How I Train the Next Generation of Beauty CEOs

Becoming a beauty professional is so much more than learning how to apply makeup, shape brows, or master lash isolation. It's about confidence, discipline, mindset, and understanding the business behind the beauty. As both a licensed esthetics educator and a 15-year beauty entrepreneur, my mission is to bridge the gap between school learning and real-world career success because graduating is just the beginning.

Every time I walk into a classroom, whether it's Pivot Point Academy or a local beauty school, I remember exactly what it felt like to be a student: ambitious, unsure, curious, eager to learn, and hungry for a path forward. That's why my teaching style blends skill, structure, and CEO mindset the core pillars needed to build a sustainable, successful beauty career in today's industry.

Why Education Is the Heart of My Brand

From the moment I launched Flawless Beauty, education has been woven into everything I do. I’ve trained apprentices, mentored artists, and built a full ecosystem that supports beauty professionals at every stage.

My experience includes:

  • 15 years in the beauty industry

  • Celebrity, bridal, and commercial makeup artistry

  • Lash and brow artistry

  • Salon & Suites ownership

  • Licensed Illinois Esthetics Educator

  • Created private trainings, workshops, and a signature lash method

  • Developing beauty entrepreneurs into confident CEOs

This range allows me to teach from a place of real experience, not theory. Students learn not just how to do the work, but how to become the person doing the work.

What I Teach My Students: The Flawless Philosophy

  1. Technique With Intention
  2. Professionalism & Client Experience
  3. Developing a CEO Mindset

Why This Work Matters to Me

My journey hasn’t been easy from working in my mom’s living room to surviving COVID, rebuilding after setbacks, breaking my ankle during peak bridal season, and returning to school to get my educator license. Every challenge shaped my mission: to create opportunities I never had.

I want every student who crosses my path to feel equipped, supported, and empowered to build the career they dream about not just the one they settle for.

Because the beauty industry is full of opportunity.
You just need someone who can see the greatness in you and pull it forward.
